Bank Indonesia together with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and supported by Ministries and industries, this year again held the Indonesian Digital Economy and Finance Festival (FEKDI) on July 11-15, 2022 in Nusa Dua, Bali with the theme Advancing Digital Economy and Finance: Synergistic and Inclusive Ecosystem for Accelerated Recovery, as part of the big series of events of the 2022 G20 Presidency which for the first time is held by Indonesia. FEKDI 2022 is a showcase for product and service innovation as well as digital economy and finance policy synergies to accelerate national economic recovery. LinkAja (PT Fintek Karya Nusantara) as one of the digital financial transaction services initiated through the synergy of SOEs actively participated in a series of FEKDI events with a partnership with Yokke (PT Mitra Transaksi Indonesia) as a pioneer POS (point-of-sales) service provider specialized in social assistance.

Yogi Rizkian Bahar, as President Director of LinkAja stated, "We strongly support the smooth distribution of social assistance through digitalization. Through the LinkAja application, Beneficiary Families can easily find out the balance of the social assistance provided along with the balance details. In addition, the strategic partnership we have with Yokke also greatly facilitates the process of channeling the disbursement of social assistance to KPM."

The FEKDI activity held at the Bali International Convention Center includes a trial activity of digitizing the distribution of government social assistance, where the main organizer of the digitization of social assistance itself is the Ministry of Social Affairs through the support of two financial technology companies (fintech), namely LinkAja and Yokke.

During the FEKDI event, LinkAja and Yokke simulated the process of digitally distributing social assistance using the LinkAja application and the POS application from Yokke. Through this breakthrough, Beneficiary Families no longer need to use the Family Welfare Card to withdraw social assistance funds, they can simply use the LinkAja electronic money application that already uses QRIS technology. Social assistance agents also no longer need to use manual recording methods to process social assistance fund transactions with special social assistance POS applications, all transactions are automatically recorded in the existing system; making the transaction process easier and more accountable.  In the trial stage, social assistance distribution was carried out in various regions in seven provinces in Indonesia. The trial successfully distributed assistance worth tens of millions of rupiah to hundreds of KPM spread across various regions in Indonesia. The collaboration between LinkAja and Yokke in the context of distributing social assistance is basically a form of realization of LinkAja's commitment in uniting various potentials for the progress of the country, especially in terms of accelerating the process of equitable financial inclusion in Indonesia.

At the same event, Niniek Rahardja as President Director of Yokke stated, "Strategic collaboration is the key to distributing social assistance that is right on target and makes it easier for Beneficiary Families (KPM). The collaboration between Yokke and LinkAja is our active contribution to efforts to restore the national economy where both parties provide convenience and innovation in the form of digital distribution of social assistance.  In addition to accelerating the economic recovery process, this innovation is also expected to help increase digital literacy in Indonesia which will provide more benefits to the community."

As stated by Perry Warjiyo, Governor of Bank Indonesia, digitalization is one of the three major areas promoted in the 2022 G20 Presidency. Acceleration of innovation and digital transformation are the main strategies of economic change in Indonesia to achieve sustainable economic growth.

Previously, in the Pre-FEKDI series LinkAja had run the PeDe Program to Build Education with LinkAja packaged in the form of knowledge sharing webinar activities by LinkAja and educational platform partners such as Eduku, Karier.mu, Sekolah.mu, Rumah Siap Kerja, Cariilmu.co.id, Pijar Mahir and Binar Academy with the theme of introducing the world of financial technology, entrepreneurship and career preparation to LinkAja partner university students.

Through a complete and integrated ecosystem of electronic financial transaction services, LinkAja's consistency and commitment in its efforts towards #SatukanPotentialIndonesia is increasingly being realized. By optimizing all the services offered by each SOE, LinkAja is optimistic that it can meet the needs of safe and convenient digital transactions, and further accelerate the process of equitable financial inclusion in Indonesia.
